You can get a gig as a freelance writer posting in forums. I have worked as a paid forum poster in the past. The idea is to fill empty forums to make it look to new members as if the forum is well-established. You will rarely interact with real users of the forums. For the most part, you will be communicating with other paid writers.
There are also websites that pay you to post discussions, in their forum. These are a different type of paid forum posting, because instead of filling many forums around the net, you post to only one forum owned by the website that is paying you as a writer. Forum posting doesn't pay a lot, but for someone new to earning money online, it may be a good start.
